I received an email on Friday afternoon from Social Services saying that we will be assigned a new taxi company for Mondays and Tuesdays, hopefully with effect from next week. Let's hope they have better ethics with regard to timing!
Now I have to go through the stress of worrying whether or not the new drivers will be axe murderers.....!

To be told your new baby has Down's Syndrome is totally overwhelming. If you are lucky, you will have a circle of experts to support you - if you are not so lucky, it is a steep learning curve and can be confusing and frightening. I fell into the latter category, and now 22 years on would like to share information learned along the way with other parents who need a little extra support.
